Achieved results

• 346 excellent trained EnergyManagers with 346 energy concepts to energy efficient measures: best practice projects with an average reduction potential of about 1900 MWh/a of energy and 77.000 €/a of costs per training participant (in sum: more than 660.000 MWh/a & 26.600.000 €/a).


• Updated and extended EUREM-standard training material in all languages of the partners involved in the project


• A web based, EU-wide learning and knowledge platform focussed on the needs of EnergyManagers and a website for the public with description of contents and concept, examples of training material, realised examples of project works, feedback from participants (http://www.energymanager.eu/)


• An European certificate "European EnergyManager" for successful graduates of the training programme EUREM


• Training EnergyManager introduced in 12 EU-countries and established nationally

The results of the EUREM.NET project exceeded the initial expectations by a multiple!

• Total energy-saving potential is significantly higher than previously estimated (projected were 200 energy concepts for energy efficient measures: best practice projects with an average reduction potential of 400 MWh/a of energy and 20.000 €/a of costs per training participant (in sum: 80.000 MWh/a & 4.000.000 €/a).


• The energy concepts were created by the participants with great motivation and a lot of time. This enthusiasm leads in the end to results which exceeded the initial expectations by a multiple. In the area of energy savings by a factor of 8, in the field of cost reductions by a factor of 6.


• The demand of EnergyManagers is very high. The original aim was to qualify 200 EnergyManagers. Within the project 346 EnergyManagers were trained (73 % more participants than estimated!)
